Main research interests
I am generally working on Numerical Optimization. Currently, I am focusing on theory, algorithms and applications of convex optimization including first order/second order methods, and interior-point algorithms.
I am also interested in applications of convex and nonconvex optimization techniques in machine learning, image and signal processing, compressive sensing, statistics, networks, linear control, optimal control, and model predictive control (MPC).
I have been working on Sequential convex programming (SCP) methods for nonconvex optimization, optimal control, linear control, and nonlinear model predictive control.
Before, I also worked on theory and methods for equilibrium problems and variational inequalities.
